MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Some Somali Americans in the Twin Cities say fear of Muslims has led to many people in the community feeling isolated. Some say they’ve even experienced Islamophobia first hand.
Community leaders say that the recent massacre in California and Donald Trump’s call for a ban on all Muslim immigrants are making things worse for Muslims in America.
“So many Muslims are afraid to come out of their houses,†said Farhio Khalif of the East African Women’s Voice. “They are afraid to talk to their neighbors, there is so much going on, there is so much hate going on in this country, because of the statement that [Trump] made. And that’s unacceptable in this country.â€

Hey, I have a couple of suggestions. First, don't commit atrocities against innocent people. Second, when some of your brethren commit these atrocities against innocent people show some remorse and be outraged that these animals are impacting your lives in a country that doesn't want you there in the first place.

When we moved to a new community, I was 6 and in the middle of first grade. I was the new kid. The little kid, and I got bullied.
But, I had an older sister that couldn’t stand her baby brother coming home every day from school, crying.
One day, she followed far behind me on my walk to school. The walk that terrorized me every day. On schedule, the neighborhood bullies appeared and did their thing with me.
Until one of them wound up with a bloody nose. And a fat lip.
That’s how you fight bullies.
Not with words.
With REAL action.
Yes, they have their own never ending CRUSADE to conquer the world.
