My brother-in-law introduced me to this diet. He was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes three years ago. He went on this high fat, low carb diet and lost 85 lbs. in 10 months and he no longer has diabetes. Completely diabetes free now. No more drugs, no more insulin injections.

His primary care doctor was flabbergasted. He didn't think it was possible.

There’s no trans fat in the margarine (spread) I buy. It’s called country crock with no hydrogenated oils (trans fat).

Instead of artificially created and highly processed vegetable oils - particular soybean oil - you’d be better off eating real, naturally occurring foods like grass-fed butter.

As my cardiologist said “Eskimos eat blubber and huge amounts of salt, yet heart disease is rare among them”.

I have no Eskimo in me. Are we clear now?

That’s amazing. I never knew, but I did question the close resemblance to top sirloin.

Here is a web page with a description of all the various chuck / shoulder cuts of beef. I had no idea there were so many! And this is just the chuck / shoulder section.

A year ago my sister and brother-in-law told me to get chuck eye steaks. I’ve been buying and enjoying them ever since—pretty much the same price as a burger and fries nowadays.

We love our Chuck-Eyes and Flatirons. Just as tender as more expensive cuts, but usually cost half as much per pound or less!

.
Nope!

We can live without the olive oil, but we die young without the animal fats.

Margarine is pure poison.

The best vegetable fat is coconut, which is quite saturated.

Polyunsaturated oils lead to type II diabetes, because they prevent insulin and other enzymes from entering our cells.

I grew up on chuck steak, including the “eye.”

I prefer rib-eye.

I’ve seen chuck eye steak before but never tried it, so thanks for the report.

“we clear now?”

Yes. You’ve outsourced your health and have a death wish. I honor your right to die.
