He’s on radio late at night here. I listen sometimes but I don’t think he’s on much before 2am in my market.

I don’t think he’s for Jebbie, or Graham, or any of the other lightweights.

MediaMatters is against him if that means anything to you:

Deace’s Intolerant Views And Conflict Of Interest Campaign Work Calls Into Question His Objectivity As A GOP Analyst

Iowa radio host Steve Deace is frequently interviewed as a political analyst by mainstream media outlets like NPR, MSNBC, and The Hill when they need an insider’s perspective on the GOP primary and Iowa political landscape. However, these outlets may not all be aware that Deace gained his insider status in conservative circles by broadcasting full-throated endorsements of extreme right-wing positions on his radio show and writing online columns filled with intolerant views that he never reveals during main stream media appearances...

Basically they take him to task for appearing on air as a guest repeatedly on MSNBC and then ridiculing MSNBC:

“In An Open Letter To MSNBC, Deace Taunted The Network Over Its Low Ratings. Writing for the Washington Times, Deace claimed that there is no market for MSNBC “in an industry already dominated by liberals.”

Deace: Supporters Of Equal Rights For LGBT People Are Part Of A “Rainbow Jihad.” In a Washington Times column headlined, “The Rainbow Jihad Of The Cultural Marxists,” Deace attacked LGBT supporters whom he claimed have “hijacked” the rainbow, declaring that “most of the media are all in for the rainbow jihad”:

This is the phone conversation Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus should have had with 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump last week:

Ring, ring.

Priebus: Hey Donald, I’d like to thank you for this one-man wrecking crew act you’ve put together on the illegal immigration issue. I’ve got my popcorn popped and can’t wait to see where you take things from here. You’ve got your boot to the throat of the opposition. Don’t let up. [Conservative Review, 7/13/15]

Deace joins all the other ne’er-do-wells who believe they have mined Trump’s intentions. They are all backbenchers, watching the gladiator perform on the field without a clue of the man. Trump has said he watched limp McCain’s flat performance lose an election, then he watched Romney lay down and quite in the final stretch and this time he decided the only way to get ‘er done was to do it himself.

Deace’ political radio show is not really heard in Iowa. It might be on one small station.

He does appear on a radio sports talk show in Iowa.

I think he makes a case as to whether what Trump is saying is born of conviction or design to control the narrative.

‘He doesn’t believe anything he says, his statements are all contrived.’

So Deace claims to be God, such that he knows everything that goes on in Trump’s mind and heart.

That’s pretty sick.

yeah, that’s why in 2012 he called Mitt Romney’s illegal immigration stance “mean-spirited”

Trump flippity flops as the mood strikes him. In September, not long ago mind you, he was all for taking in some Syrian refugees for humanitarian reasons. O’Reilly mentioned the dangers and Trump’s response was he hated to do it but we had no choice, we had to let them in. Too bad he didn’t recognize the danger then.

After a terrorist attack he decides to ban all Muslims. It plays well. He has changed positions on everything over the past decade, multiple times. Look at his positions on... anything. Everything!

Trump is smart. He knows what people want to hear. He tells them what they want to hear. He puts professional politicians to shame at their own game. He is saying the right things now but what does the man believe? No one knows. Maybe not even Trump. We can only go with the things he has said in the past. He is no conservative, that’s for sure. No idea who Steve Deace is but it sounds like he knows what he is talking about.

Yes. I know him. Popular with home schoolers. But really not heard on the radio in Iowa.

No, unlike you, Deace actually read “The Art of the Deal” and comprehending the part on negotation.

It’s all part of the troll job. Give ‘em what they want to hear with no attachment whatsoever and change course when the deal is done.

Steve Deace has endorsed Cruz. Cruz is not polling too well and Deace is getting grumpy. Looks bad to back a losing candidate. Of course Deace is dissing Trump.
