Oh, ok, cool. I can’t eat popcorn without salt even with plenty of melted butter. But sometimes too much salt ruins things. Even popcorn.

You're #18. I was just wondering about that. Don't want to fry my own because too much grease and tougher. Maybe these are baked. I'll have to check for less salty ones. Usually whatever I eat them with has enough salt for both, tortillas and salsa, nachos (which I never have on hand everything to make good ones) :-( Plus they have ruined Velveeta cheese but I'll save that for another time. Now I need to mix sharp cheddar and American. Problem is you can't buy a block of American unless you can find some wholesale but too much and I have to watch for mold. You can cut it off but only to a point after which you have to throw it out.

I've got stuff in my cart, but have run into a problem with Amazon. They've cut back on free shipping, only certain items they stock. Maybe it has always been that way with them.

I can't see the benefit of 90 bucks for Amazon prime because I guess I'll have to call them and find out what gets free shipping and what doesn't. I do buy a lot from them but it's unpredictable when I will have another order.

There are so many non-Amazon sellers that charge their own shipping, and I got really ripped off on some snow spikes, like $20 shipping and handling. So you have to watch that at checkout. The the spike things may have already prevented a fall so maybe worth it.

Not using iodized salt is a sure way to get a goiter !

The damned food-Nazis are nutters, who want to tell everyone else what to do, but do/eat whatever they want to.

I started buying iodized years ago. Is goiter where your thyroid enlarges? I don't have that yet. But enough else nuisance stuff.

The craziest thing. Oh you don't need to know I have trouble walking now.

It's late. I had better quit. C2C is Steve Quayle, all over the map tonight, fearmonger. Could be right for all I know. Has gone from human genetic experiments and now it's about Muslims.

Yes, it involves the thyroid and it can kill you, if not treated.

I'm sorry to hear that you are ill and discomfited.

LEAVE US ALONE !!

Leave us alone but there should be nutritional education. Just six years ago, it was almost impossible to find healthy food choices. Now, it's quite easy. That's not because of anything the gov did, it's because a large segment of the public demands it.

All I have is the NYT link.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03/opinion/sunday/we-only-think-we-know-the-truth-about-salt.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

I’m sure there is a link to the original study itself, but I don’t know what it is.

If anyone finds it, please ping me.
