Asking fellow FREEPers...I follow Trump on twitter, and see the stories here on FR.
I seem to sense that DT thinks he is in a good enough position NOW on the primary front that he can now aim at the Demon Rats.
I see more criticism of Shrillary and the Narcissist than I did in the beginning of his campaign, when he seemed more obsessed with taking down his fellow Republicans.
Opinions?
I also have noticed Ted Cruz for the MOST part has been taking on Democrats from the first of his campaign, and has been generally respectful of his opponents on the Republican side of the aisle...the GOP "leadership" notwithstanding.
I think that Trump (rightly or wrongly) believes that he’s taken out the GOPe candidates and now needs to work on softening up the democRAT opposition.
I do believe that he’s taken out Bush, Rubio, and Kaisich. The others were never going to be a factor anyway. Cruz has been respectful and has not gone after Trump who has reciprocated in kind.
Right now, it is still early, but it appears that the election is Trump’s to lose.

I agree but as you say it's still early. For some time now it has been a four person race of
Trump, Carson, Rubio, Cruz, imo. And I don't think Carson was ever a serious challenge but
he has ranking in the polls. I'm surprised at Trump's position in Iowa but that only
comes to fruition if he gets the caucus voters out.
I think Republican voters are in favor of the candidates NOW begin going after the Democrat candidates and the Administration.
AND the media when it BLATENTLY show its bias.
It would be good to see all the GOP candidates “pile on” when media bias occurs, and in particular when the MSM “omits” criticizing the lies of the Democrat candidates, the President or his press secretary... or any of the other lies that come out from the Administration...
They should also keep demanding truth and justice regarding Benghazi... from HRC and from the press.
Whether or not Trump has "taken them out," I do think Kasich is out of it and Bush is on fumes. However, I think Rubio is still very much in play. I think the nominee will be either Cruz, Rubio, or Trump.
If I were a betting man, I would put my money on Trump/Cruz. I think Rubio committed suicide when he got into bed with Chuck Schumer on amnesty.
It’s not that early. Trump has been frontrunner now three times longer than the remaining time before the voting begins. Once it begins it will be effectively over within 5 weeks.
Overdue.
That’s because Trump and Cruz both are smart enough to know that the best way to win the nomination is to attack the Democrats and other liberals better than the other Republicans can do it.....and in fact, that’s the only way Republicans win the White House...is to come out of a primary season where the main enemy was the Democrats, not each other.
Lot of other candidates, and lot of Freepers, not as smart as DT or TC on this one.
He should start acting like the nominee, and going full bore against Clinton and 0bama, labeling her as 0bama’s 3rd term, and hammering her on all of her crooked connections, emails, Clinton Foundation, the total disaster she was as Sec of State, etc. Even if he does not turn out to be the nominee he would have done a lot of the heavy lifting in softening her up for defeat.
Most of the other candidates seem more interested in taking out Trump than they are in taking out Clinton.
Yeah, he has been since before the last debate.
Cruz, closing in on the solid #2 spot, is also turning to DEFINING HIMSELF VIS-A-VIS THE DEMS.
It’s all about the moderate voters.
The conservatives have made their choice- and it’s Trump or Cruz.
My temperance is rooted in having been disappointed before.
I have been enjoying Trump’s success, but there are too many variables in play right now, for me to feel confident that he can win it all. There are powerful enemies who will stop at nothing to prevent him from becoming the nominee, or president were things to go that far.
As Trump would say, it is such a target rich environment.
And he was serious when he said it.
HRC is convinced that victory is hers! I’m afraid the American people feel the same way.
Republican primary voters are too uninformed to know this. Outside of parts of the Northeast, most couldn't even identify Schumer.
I agree. With Cruz and Rubio beach slapping each other for 2nd place Trump is clear field running toward the end zone.
Bush will make his move any day now. Let’s not forget Bush!!!
2 strikes against Rubio, He was in the gang of 8 that knew about the gun running scheme to get guns to ISIS
Trump Macon Ga. Live stream.. I’m having troubles with it.
