Two residents and a dog were saved from potentially dangerous rushing water situations early Friday morning in McKinney.
Shortly after 3 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to find a man trapped in a tree off Eldorado Parkway near College Street. Rushing water had swept up the man, whom authorities did not identify, and his dog.
The man called 911 from the tree, unsure of his exact location but relaying to dispatchers that he was scared the water would overtake him and he'd lose service to his phone, according to Stacie Durham, spokeswoman for the McKinney Fire Department.

Ping!
Thank you Amntn. Very much appreciated. And the rain continues to fall, here - with more on the way.
Take care!
It has been unusually warm here in TN the last few days. We are supposed to get rain in the next couple of days and I read that parts of the south are supposed to get ice.
You just can’t fix stupid. But we keep saving them for some reason. I ask..... Why?
