The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum condemned the U.S. treatment of Syrian refugees on Thursday and compared their plight to the ordeal of Jewish refugees fleeing the Holocaust..."We cannot and should not blame [refugees] for the actions of an evil terrorist organization," ...Georgette Bennett, the president of the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding and the daughter of Holocaust survivors, said that U.S. politicians' opposition to receiving Syrian refugees reminded her of "the refusal to allow the passengers of the St. Louis to disembark in an American port, sending them back to Europe -- many to their deaths."

The irony is that the grand percentage of Moslem Syrian refugees are taught that there was never a Holocaust and also taught at a very young age to hate Jews and Isreal and America.
Yet liberal Jews and other leftists are falling over themselves to welcome them here in the US.
I don’t know about you, but if there is a group that hates me and wants to kill me, and chants death to Isreal and the U.S., the last thing I want to do is allow them into my country. It’s just common sense and self preservation.

It seems every cultural institution eventually gets taken over by the politically correct self destructive left.
The original destination of the St. Louis was Cuba. It was Cuba that changed its policy and turned them away. Even so, they could have gone to the Dominican Republic, but did not do so. Canada also chose not to allow them into their country, as did the UK. But go ahead and blame the USA. It plays out real good in the media when you want to smear a conservative candidate.

And that is something that liberals can’t imagine. Liberalism only exists in places where it is safe and food is plentiful. The believers in that ideology reach the point where they can’t imagine any other conditions, so they stop worrying about real threats and start making up threats (like microaggressions, the “rape culture” on campus, and climate change).
If this is what the Holocaust Museum thinks, then I hope it is attacked by a gang of “refugees” and thoroughly destroyed. It has no place in the US anyway since we did not play any part in the Holocaust except to END it.
These are people crafting their views to facilitate effortless rumination at the next cocktail party.
I suppose were the Nazis in power in wreaking havoc on the world, these liberal Jews would be defending us bringing hundreds of thousands of military age Aryan men here to resettle
And this is why, as a Jew, I have always torn up funding appeals from the Holocaust Museum (and ADL). This is utterly despicable. There is absolutely no comparison between the 1930 Jews and 2015 Muslim invaders, who are doing nothing but “hijrah” — invading non-Muslim lands to conquer for Islam.

I’s amazing how a little known fact for something that happened many years ago was mentioned once and now it’s repeated on every bit of coverage on the refugees...It didn’t even need to be accurate to be repeated over and over.
The real irony is that building a Holocaust Museum in the U.S. is sort of like building a memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide in Ecuador. These silly museums in places that had nothing to do with the subject matter are only established for a political purposes, so why should anyone be surprised when they make these overtly political statements?
Frank’s parents were facilitating criminal conduct. They were hiding their son who didn’t want to register for a productive job.
