This is the performer who was on Saturday Night Live with Trump last night. The young girl in the video is Maddie Ziegler, a dancer who appears in numerous Sia music videos.
I think Sia and Maddie are absolutely brilliant.
Of course, mileage might differ.

I think Sia and Maddie are absolutely brilliant. You forgot to put the /s tag after that.

Sia
Was that ‘mop head’?
If so, it sounded to me like she couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket.

I don’t like the fake electronified singing, no matter who it is. The dancer is very skillful.

I lasted for :42 watching the video before I asked myself wtf are you watching this cr@p for? Sad what passes for talent these days.
To: PAR35
I actually thought she had a pretty good voice. She looked crazy. She sang crazy. But, she had a decent control of her voice.

Nearly a billion views. Yikes.

Watch the music video. If you aren't moved by the talent...then I suggest it is you who needs to grow.
Life isn't just politics. It's also an appreciation for art which isn't political...art is an extension of life itself.

As soon as I get some ink, I’m going to print a picture of her and clean my toilet with it.

Art is a moving target. Music is an artform.
It moves forward.
Morality may be an absolute, but the expression of life is in a state of perpetual change.

I agree — it was a mesmerizing performance. Yes, the mop head hair, and giant bows were affectations — but, so what? Most performers wear some sort of costume on stage. The stagecraft was brilliant too. I should add that I seldom tune into music made after about 1980; so, I am definitely not part of Sia’s fan demographic. If she weren’t part of Trump Night Live, I probably would never have watched or heard her. The performance was a surprise extra bonus for tuning into Trump.

I thought she has a wonderful voice.
I just had to look away from the TV to enjoy it.

I actually think Sia has a good voice...as does Lady GaGa. It’s not unusual for a singer these days to have to have some sort of gimmick. There is a guy on The Voice that did an awesome cover of Chandelier.
I try to keep current on music instead of staying in my comfort zone (classic rock). But it is hard...the singers/groups don’t seem to have much staying power.

Heheh...
I was a hyperactive kid...and skinny.
I cleaned out the fridge daily.
She's just a baby...but she's a good dancer for a little girl.
