Well, looks like now we really know why he died, though I think it would be better if the coroner released an official report about it. Still incredibly sad, and it's only come to light today.

It combines the worst of Alzheimer’s with the worst of Parkinson’s. One of my grandfathers had Parkinson’s, another had dementia. Both were horrible but didn’t compare to the misery of Lewy body.

Oh man, this is sad. I’m glad it wasn’t as simple as someone with so many blessings just giving up. I pray that our Lord is understanding and merciful. There are few celebs that I enjoyed as much as Robin Williams.

I believe He is. I believe God is merciful on those who commit suicide due to mental illness. Those who take their lives due to Financial woes, or their partner abandon them, those are selfish reasons.

When I heard about Robin I prayed to God that he have mercy upon his soul. He has battle with mental issues and also I understand he never got over his girlfriend who aborted their child. We also will never know how far gone his illness was with Robin when he was diagnosed.

Lewy body dementia was featured in Kelsey Grammar's brilliant but cancelled series Boss.
