Seattle police have arrested a husband and wife they say have an "insatiable appetite for denim."
Police said in a news release they arrested a 63-year-old man and 58-year-old woman after finding 400 pairs of jeans, perfume, purses and shoes at their Beacon Hill home Thursday.

The crime: they were accused of placing orders with and buying items from shoplifters with a total sale value of $150K.
Any news if they were they on eBay w/their jeanapalossa?
When Hot Jeans are outlawed, only criminals will have Hot Jeans!
Let me guess, hot jeans were in their genes?
LOL ...and they should be outlawed in sizes above *10*, IMHO.
I never had a pair of super bells.
Just regular bell bottoms.
The "cool" kids had the super bells.
And Colorado's.
(never had them either)
What a combination.
(I do miss my down vest over my jean jacket over my hooded sweat jacket.)
Frankenstein boots? I tried a pair on once.
I remember they were the ridiculously high price of $60.00.
It was like walking in ski boots.
Wear those in the winter around here to work outside. Didn’t know they had a name other than “work boots”. Pretty standard for farmers
From the headline and excerpt it seemed as though their crime was having too much. Was afraid we had gone further along toward communism than I was aware.
They wanted to be “Forever in Blue Jeans”
Such a stupid headline. I gather the jeans were not lawfully obtained by the pair and that the theft led to their legal problems. Seriously doubt that just owning a lot of pants is illegal — yet.
...this was Seattle, after all ;)
If instead of jeans, perfume, purses and shoes, they had had guns and ammo, it would have been referred to as an ‘arsenal’.
What's ironic (to me) is that, today, at work and for casual, this is my preferred boot.
A Sportiva Makalu.
STIFF???
Makes the old Colorado's seem like sneakers.
I work in construction. The 3/4 steel shank in the sole gives me the best support no matter the terrain. (especially for my size and weight)
The heavy padded leather gives me tremendous ankle support.
Once broken in, they are, as a buddy once described them, "like little houses for your feet".
(Oh...I remember the Colorado's were about $60. The Mak's today are about $300)(and worth every penny...to me)
They aren’t involved in a laundering scheme are the?
Go to your room. This instant.
