The Cullman County Republican Party conducted an unofficial poll of candidates; visitors stopped by the booth and dropped a bean in each respective candidates bowl. Trump came away with around 49 percent of the total beans cast, followed by pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 27 percent.

The normal polling methods don’t work

Trump is going to win in an epic landslide that even democrat voter fraud won’t be able to overcome

On a tangential note, yesterday was the first time I met someone who said he supported Carson; I have been wondering if Carson’s support was grass-roots or astroturf because I didn’t know anyone who thought he was the best option. Maybe Carson is indeed #2 in the hearts of the base as the polls seem to indicate.

The Carson man, BTW, was Mrs. C’s ARNP; perhaps it’s the medical connection, at the time I didn’t think to ask. When I responded that I was a Cruz supporter, however, he said he had no problems with Cruz in the White House either.

Hey sorry I didn’t even think to check, since this article (just) appeared in search, as I was searching.

But hey. It’s important. It’s fabulously critical.

On the one hand, it overstates support Trump would get in a primary. On the other hand, it shows he could be a strong candidate in the general election, despite some GOP defections.

Dr. Carson made 2 appearances here during the last 6 months. Both big venues both sold out immediately. Here is Greensboro, NC. I saw him speak years ago. He does have a way with an audience.
