Weird animal with 'body of buffalo and head of crocodile' baffles everyone [Thailand?]

Confusing genetic creations happen all the time, but this is one of the most unusual animals seen in a long time

Images have been shared of a most unusual creature spotted in a remote village - and it's the stuff of sci-fi movies.

The strange animal appears to have the scaly, rough head and skin of a reptile such as a crocodile.

However, on closer inspection, it's also got the body, limbs and hooves of a mammal such as a calf.

Local website Rath has commented on the find in High Rock, Wanghin in Thailand.

The creature appears to have been born of a buffalo, but is clearly not a normal-looking creature.

Obviously some Croc who was a “player” was having his way with a good looking Buffalo.

I’ve seen dogs with advanced mange look something like that. Can’t really explain the large scale-like scars on the head though.

In the video at the link, the head looks far more buffalo than crocodile.

Yeah, it is not normal looking because it is decomposing. This is just like those soaked dead dogs that wash up on the shore. Why are these supposedly weird creatures never photographed alive?
