FULL TITLE: Donald Trump's alma mater tops US News & World Report's new ranking of undergraduate business programs, again

The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, Donald Trump's alma mater, was once again named the best undergraduate business program in America by US News & World Report.

As the undergraduate-business-education website Poets & Quants for Undergrads noted in a breakdown of business-school rankings last year, Wharton tends to dominate the US News list. "Wharton's clear win is not surprising," it wrote last year. "The school boasts one of the most respected, and selective, undergraduate business programs in the country."

Of the 22 presidential candidates in the 2016 race, Trump, Ted Cruz (Princeton), Bobby Jindal (Brown), George Pataki (Yale), and Lincoln Chafee (also Brown) are the only ones to have undergraduate degrees from Ivy League colleges. Of those, Trump is the only one with a business degree.

The Wharton School is the only one of the Ivy League universities to boast of undergraduate business degrees. The other schools make you go through 4 years of liberal indoctrination, I mean education, and get into thousands of dollars in debt before allowing you to start an MBA so you could learn something useful.

The rest of the University of Pennsylvania is as liberal as any other. In fact, the faculty and students of the rest of the school hate the Wharton students because they tend to be smarter, better, and work harder (hence they get all the A’s). Just like in the real world!

Back in the 1980s Wharton instituted a five-year combined undergraduate-MBA program that was basically a trade school for financiers.

Just like at Ohio State. The lib arts kids hated when us Engineering students were in their classes. Why? We would cut half of the classes and still blow out the curve. It actually got so bad that some professors would exclude us from the curve. LOL.

Most folks who go to Harvard, Yale, and Prinecton, generally don’t need large loans to graduate. My son will graduate Harvard this year debt-free. So will my second son in 2018. Because of financial aid, I will have paid less for two kids to get through Harvard than Catholic high school.

... Wharton students because they tend to be smarter, better, and work harder (hence they get all the A’s)...uh, not quite - when I was back at Penn - admittedly about six years before Trump was there - there were actually two tracks of undergraduate classes in English, math, and statistics - one industrial strength for those of us in the College, and one watered down - that's easier, less intense - for those in Wharton - they may have gotten all A's, but it was because their classes weren't as demanding, not because they were "smarter, better, and work harder".....

I used to really be proud of Penn, until some years ago when that batcrap crazy Marc Lamont Hill started showing up on OReally and spewing his silliness. I was ashamed that such psychobabble could come from Penn. I don’t know if he graduated Penn. He was a professor at Penn. Thank God he’s someplace in New England now.

Trump. All that’s missing is the “I” and the “H”. TrIumpH. The word “landslide” won’t be big enough to cover it.
