A deep talented front 7 let down by the secondary. Did Phyllis from Mulga survive the night?

FIVE turnovers AND a freak bounce for a TD, and it still went to the final seconds. That's not going to be a regular occurrence. 'Bama isn't going anywhere.
OCT 3 and OCT 17, 'Bama plays on the road against a ranked team (#7 UGA and #17 TxAM respectively), and hosts #13 LSU on 11/7. Those games will show whether there is trouble or not.
('Bama is also on the road at Auburn 11/28, but that's a rivalry game, and Auburn was just exposed yesterday themselves at LSU.)
'Bama still has a beast in #2 Henry, an exceptional front 7, and a top coach.
Mr Forde is simply being a modern journalism major... posting utter tripe to get attention, because people will talk about it.

Agree. Let down by the secondary but also by the QBs. This game showed how important a quarterback is. Auburn found that out yesterday too.

Bama has a great program but there are so many other schools in the country that have improving programs also. I think it is a good thing. Last year there was no SEC team in the final playoff. By the way....(Geaux LSU)

Did Phyllis from Mulga survive the night? Assuming she did, I hope we get to see video from Finebaum's call-in show on Monday...ought to be epic!

Does Ole Miss have any trees for disgruntled Alabama fans to go poison?

The big problem for the SEC right now is they have
hot garbage quality quarterbacking, to quote Colin Cowherd from his new radio show on Fox Sports Radio.
As such, we may not even see an SEC team in the four-team playoff at the current rate....

What it feels like when the foundation cracks: denial is in the air. They didnt beat us, Alabama cornerback Cyrus Jones said. We beat ourselves. Not denial, a true statement. Bama's five turnovers and shaky quarterbacking gave Ole Miss several short yardage scoring situations and ended five Bama possessions with no scoring.
Being on the wrong end of a five turnover difference, it's amazing Bama still had a chance to win during the final minutes.
Whether Bama will find a steady quarterback who can eliminate most mistakes is the critical question. If they can, they can beat anyone on their remaining schedule.

Alabama is going to regret the day they hired Lane Kiffin.
