Huckabee had the most salient thought during the debate.

Huckabee: This is about the survival of Western civilization. [vis-a-vis the Iran deal]
Which actually goes deeper than just Iran. It encompasses the whole rise of anti western anti semite uprisings throughout the Arab world. The "Arab Spring" farce the media peddled us.
I'm thinking how lucky for us that Egypt regained its senses and at least attempting to be secular.

“The “Arab Spring” farce the media peddled us.”
Not just the media. Children discussed this in school as a ‘freedom’ and human rights movement.

Another good one was that no one on the stage was being investigated by the FBI.

Huckabee comes in for all kinds of ridicule in this forum, and I don’t think he deserves most of it.

Was it his assertion that we needed to welcome illegal aliens in order to atone for slavery?

Huck has that down home shucks persona about him. He is also a good debater - not sure he did so well as governor, but I didn’t follow his record, so I’ll leave that up to those in the know. He would be great as head of the religious coalition - or whatever that department in the government is called.

I like Huckabee. On the morals issues, he would make a decent president. As a Christian, I can count on him to defend Christianity!

Huckabee had the most salient thought during the debate. Yes, but not one he shared, he was thinking "How the hell can I work "Diabetes Solution Kit" into one of my answers.

What’s good for Huck always comes first. Like someone else from Arkansas.
