Hey as a Cleveland fan, I can say we’re leading in one category: oddsmakers have our coach #1 in the “first to be fired” rankings.
Nothing at all, I’m considering running for a seat on the committee.
Obviously the psychological toll of deflate-gate on Brady was minimal, at least based on last night.
Agreed. Surprised me a little.
We interrupt this Live Thread for Breaking News... to take you right to Roger Goodell's press conference on the possible Patriots Headphonesgate Scandal--
Ah-- yes, as you say, Tom Brady and the Patriots... did win their game last night.
But there were, as you all know... some irregularities concerning the Steeler's communications--
Which as you all know again... is the responsibility of the Patriots organization.
Now while we will fully investigate the matter... many may scoff that in the long run a federal court will overturn any punishment we hand out for what we find.
So, seeing how Tom Brady is getting more money... and nookie than I am--
And on top of that his coach, Bill Belichick... wears a damn hoodie like a drug gang banger, but he also gets more nookie than I do--
So, but by the power of the recent Supreme Court ruling on Sam Sex Marriage... I hereby order that Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Caitlyn Jenner are in a legal three way marriage.
Now, they may still get more nookie than I do... but they won't enjoy as much as I do!
Oh crap! He's coming home... with that New England swagger again!
Go away MR Jane Skinner LOL!
You know, Seven, I think you have... kind'a a crush on me--
Cause Jane says "Go away!" all the time... but we all know how much she has the hots for me!
Whhhh... What?
:)
Excuse me LOL!
Listen Peterrr you are a wuss for not going to Pat game on Thursday game you were afraid that Boston fans would boo you or Kill you
Edited for accuracy
I missed Thursday’s game so no pick there. But as for the rest....
Sept. 13
Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills. Colts have Luck. The Bills have.... I don’t know. Buffalo does have a good D but that won’t be enough. Colts.
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears. Again, a QB situation. Even without Jordy Nelson, Rodgers still has plenty of options. The Bears still have Cutler. Packers.
Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans. Don’t know what to make of the Texans this season. They narrowly missed the playoffs last season. Playing at home I’ll take them to beat the shaky Chiefs. Texans.
Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars. Panthers lose to the lowly Jags (in their fourth rebuilding season!). Panthers.
Cleveland Browns at New York Jets. What to make of this one? Two teams in disarray, but at least the Jets have some weapons. When in doubt take the home team. Jay-Eeee-Tee-Ess!
Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams. New - look Rams, who played the Seahawks tough last season. And the time to beat the Seahawks is early, before they establish themselves. Rams in the upset.
Miami Dolphins at Washington Redskins. Let’s face it - the ‘Skins are in free-fall. These aren’t the ‘72 Dolphins, but they’re still plenty good enough to beat the Deadskins. Phish!
New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals. The Cards.... If they would have had a serviceable QB last season, they could have won it all. The Saints lost a lot of players over the off-season. Cardinals.
Detroit Lions at San Diego Chargers. Two teams of the Jekyll-and-Hyde variety. This week I’ll take the Chargers Dr Jekyll over Detroit’s Hyde. Bolts!
Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos. Broncos have the habit of embarrassing the Ravens in Denver (except for that playoff game three years ago...). But I think Peyton is definitely on the downturn. Ravens in the (mild) upset.
Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders. The Moribund Raiders.... Are still moribund. Bengals.
Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another great match-up.... Winston makes his debut. Who is the QB for the Titans? Who the heck knows? Toss a coin.... Titans.
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys. Two teams headed in opposite directions. Murray is gone but the O-line remains. G-Men... Well, they Eli and that great receiver but not much else. ‘Boys.
Sept. 14
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles are gonna go wild in the Georgia Dome. Ryan and Company don’t have enough to keep up with the Cheesesteak Boys. Iggles!
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers. Miners are no longer the monster of just two years ago, and Kaepernick is not the second coming, but they have enough to beat the Vikes, even with Peterson. Niners!
