I heard the froggies ran away. The froggie trainmen, I mean. They were deserting the passengers. Our American soldiers are made of sterner stuff.

Sad that you have to read the British press for details on this.

Fox News is a politically correct joke.

No kidding. I’m sick of how Europe looks down at their collective noses at the US.

LOL! Definitely...however, I will say that the French have been pretty good about this one and have actually given the Americans credit.

The only funny thing is that the press says the French authorities “have no idea” what prompted this Islamic loser to go off. I read in the same article that they’re also “not sure” why a Muslim beheaded his boss and killed another coworker a couple of months ago or why another Muslim attacked all sorts of random people in a provincial town...a total mystery, right?

If you have the upper hand in such a case, you should take advantage of it. Tell the Muzzie that you had a pork sandwich for lunch and had smeared him with so much pork fat that he is going to Hell for sure.

Yes, Mr. Norman's presser is a must-see - his introspection about deciding between going out fighting or dying while cowering in a corner is sobering. It's great to see there are still Brits in Britain. It was a team effort where there were only split seconds to think and act. All those guys won one for Western civilization today.

I am a woman who abhors violence, but when I read another post here that was from a Brit publication, I said that I would love to have witnessed this guy’s beat-down. One of the Americans involved said that they kept at him until he was unconscious.

Or just relegating their story to relative obscurity, well behind the antics of Miss Bruce Jenner.

Well he did ask. It’d only be polite to oblige him.

The Indianapolis Star has a nifty little feature called Let it Out, where readers can submit short pieces of bumper sticker humour and philosophy, attaboys, and similar observations for publication.

My offering this morning was along the lines of The terrorist picked the wrong French train for his attack. There were three fighting Americans aboard.

We'll see if it makes the rag tomorrow. Since it's a Gannett paper [same folks as USA Today] I'll not hold my breath.

Nice to see that the French President presented the Americans with the Legion of Honor quicker than it took an American president to lower flags to half-mast for dead American Marines in Chattanooga.
