GMail Putting Republican Campaign Messages into SPAM file?

Posted on 08/19/2015 8:33:23 AM PDT by weston

So I opened my SPAM folder in my GMAIL account and what did I find...

TOPICS: Conspiracy
KEYWORDS:
All of the emails from Ted Cruz, Scott Walker and Ben Carson campaigns! I have received the ones from Bush, Trump, Kasich, and like 2 from Cruz and a couple from Carson in my primary account. Even get Hillary stuff unsolicited. Also Huckabee's have come through ok. Oh also all of Fiorina's were in Spam. I didn't even know she had sent out anything! I reported them all as NOT SPAM and made a complaint. Wow...Google taking it upon themselves to sensor my email is too much! Anyone else have this happen?

Are you surprised?

Click the check box and mark them “Not Sam”. Then put any Dhimmicrap messages into the Spam box.

That’s what I did, wonder how many people are totally unaware and don’t get a chance to contribute to good candidates and instead are persuaded by more GOPe candidates. Conservatives are assaulted everywhere.

If enough people mark an email as spam, Google (or Yahoo! or any other email service) will treat the email as spam.

i would be careful about these spam and not automatically jump to the wrong conclusion about gmail spam. Its simple enough to unspam it, but most of them are spam imho. They could even be fraudsters out there pretending to be from gop asking for donations
