I misremembered. Santa got booed and hit with snowballs. It was other people who got the battery treatment.

Tebow’s reads were slower than Barkley’s, but Sanchez was very inaccurate and should drop on the depth chart
1 - had a receiver who had five steps on the safety and through it short. Receiver had to slow down ... Safety caught up and knocked it away.
2 - missed a wide open receiver by a good five yards when he rolled to his left... Receiver would have waltzed into the end zone untouched
3 - threw high on several occasions without reason... Gave his receivers no opportunity for run after catch and almost cost one of his receivers a knee injury

Barkley looked sharp but had at least 3 passes that were forced into situations where the receivers were very well covered.

Tebow’s throws were accurate, but after his first series, it looked like his primary and secondary receivers didn’t appear to be open, and he either didn’t have the time or the presence of mind to check the third / fourth option.

If roster cuts were tomorrow, I would be releasing Sanchez

Surely the Eagles would realize that to keep him would equal more revenue & ticket sales?

Eagles fans are largely illiterate convicts and felons. They won't have any use for a squeaky clean type of guy.

Although the Eagles do specialize in gimmicky college-type offenses that fail in the NFL, so Tebow does somewhat fit in that regard.

Tebow had the 4th string offensive line and was sacked and hurried many times. Happily he took the sacks and avoided an interception (kiss of death). The running touchdown shows exactly what is expected of him.

I would tend to agree, but if cuts were tomorrow my Chiefs would be demoting their first string quarterback as well. Tebow played like a third string. He did nothing to pass Barkley in the depth chart. But he did nothing to play himself off the team, either. The Eagles carry three QBs so Tebow may well make the roster for the regular season.

ok. but better keep your knife and fork handy :). that crow keeps forever.

I've never been a Tebow supporter; I think he's a great person but not an NFL level quarterback. The Tebow I saw today looked like the Tebow of a few years ago. He's a third string QB at best. Hopefully all the hoopla has died down enough to he can play that position with the Eagles.

Keeping it real - the only thing Tebow proved today is that he is the 4th best QB on the Eagles. And that ain’t saying much because the first 3 aren’t all that either.

i don’t know Tim. but i’d love to stand in a huddle with him just once. i bet he’s the kind of qb who just wants to lift his teammates and lead them all as far as they can go together. i’d just like to feel his presence in the huddle when the chips are down.

anyway God bless him and God bless you too. i pray that he makes the team and i hope you’re an Eagles’ fan, because if he does, i’ll be one too.

Did you see those snaps? Just about every one was low. Tebow was bending over to get most of them.

Mike Ditka said it best, a QB can't pass the ball if he is on his butt.

Oh well we will see if things improve. But I don't know, and thats the problem with Tim Tebow. If the pocket closes and he has no receiver he is not getting rid of the ball like he should I have to admit.
