I will pray for your family member in the tense situation. I know God's will is for shalom, God's everything-rightness, reconciliation and peace. May God repair and heal all relationships by the means that He alone knows best.

Absolutely! Iodine is a good thing and most of us are deficient. Fluorides and Bromides deplete the body of Iodine. We get Fluorides in our water supply and from our dentist. I just spent a month and a half, multiple procedures with those things...worst month and a half of my life.

I do indeed feel sympathy, and lots of it, for anyone who has them. I think I am done talking obsessively about them, to the probable gratification of anyone I know...

I saw your prayer, and it made me think of thoughts I had just recently when going through the same thing:

"God, please help me not look like a blubbering wimp as I try to get through this with some dignity, and I promise that I will fully appreciate the good health you have seen fit to grant me most of my life. And, by the way...that angel you subcontracted out the design of the kidneys, renal pelvis, ureters, bladder and urethra to? Would you please forgive that angel, but not before administering a severe tongue-thrashing and threatening them with banishment to the other place? THEN forgive them...Amen!"
