I have no clue what you mean by that. My only point is that the poor performance of American children against other countries is primarily a factor of our diversity. We just have a lot more of the low performing groups here.

If almost all Americans were descended from Swedes or Chinese, we’d have high (average) scores too.

Read the book to have a grasp of what the authors are pointing out.

Then, go to a honors reward meeting for mid schoolers and high school grads to see how few American born kids with American parents are getting honors.

Then, go to a math olympics meeting/contest and a odyssey of the mind/contest and see the sparse showing of American kids
and American parents at these elite groups.

Then, while at the latter meetings/contest notice the scouts from Google, Facebook, MS and other science/math based companies and maybe NSA? looking for future hires.

I have been to several of these meetings/contests in the past few years as well as observant relatives across this country and seen the results pointed out by this book.

America is raising dumb and poorly educated kids, who will be at a loss in our math/science driven world.
