Me and my friends played around with one, when we were in High School. (In the 60s) After a few minutes, I realized there really was something behind it. We got scared, and got rid of it, and never messed with it again. There is no doubt in my mind, that it is demonic, and should be avoided.
You don’t have to be involved in the occult to lose your soul.

You stare into the abyss long enough..., you become the abyss. Absolutely 100% true. That’s why every Freeper should get away from politics and do anything else to enjoy life. This is not a warm up act. That’s why I don’t mine seeing Freepers talk about the NFL, movies, technology, music, etc... Some of that stuff may be mindless, but it gives us all a break. You just don’t want it to dominate you.
For what it’s worth Christoper Lee was a great actor. Although I disagree with his understanding of the occult. It looks like he was only seeing one part of it.
The occult is nothing more that hidden knowledge. It’s a tool that can be used for good and it can be used evil. Much like a gun.
For the record, I’m a Christian and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. That is the path I have chosen.
Anyhow, there is a lot of great information online if you seek it you will find it. A lot of people like Christopher Lee get freaked out by the word, “occult”, but it’s not what you think.
To sum up the occult itt basically declokes the world as we know it. And once your eye is trained what to look for.... then you will see the world differently. The symbols are only a small part of it. One you understand, use it, then it becomes a science and a practice.
I can 100% assure every Freeper that it works. It would not last thousands of years if it was a lie, in people’s imagination and/or a bunch of malarkey.
Like 95% of the world I did not start to understand this until about 2009. It was not intentional, but I stumbled upon it. The beginnings of it, etc... IMO it’s paramount to have a foundation and strong relation with your Creator before practicing this.
Question: Do I practice this science
Answer: Yes but not as much as I should.
Question: Does it work?
Answer: Yes. I would not waste my time with it if it did not.
Question: How quickly does it work?
Answer: It varies, but the quickest was about 15 seconds or so.
Anyway, for the beginners that are curious. Mark Passio does a pretty good job explaining it. It took me a while to get though his presentations because he is hitting you with a lot of information. Thus, I found myself pausing and going back over the video.
What worked best for me is a cup of coffee or water and about 1 hour at a time. That 1 hour though I was going back in the video (to marinate it in my brain or if I missed it), thinking about what is being said, taking notes, etc... So it ended up being about 90 to 120 minutes more or less for every hour. That’s all I could take for a day.
I think his best presentation is the one he did at Yale University. It was done in a hotel across from the collage.

At the time I played with the the ouija board, I was not a born again Christian yet, so I did not know what was going on. I just knew it seemed to be able to answer specific questions, and I knew something weird was going on. Years later, I understood that demons were behind it. I am glad we got rid of it, and never messed with it again.
The occult can be used for good, really? The Bible warns against it.
