After watching a lot of news coverage the past few nights, I’m of the mind that if the media packed up and went home...Baltimore would be able to solve their own problems. It’s tiring watching all the media feeding the frenzy to the viewers. Go home and stay home. Let them figure it out for themselves.
The media need to ignore the students who are simply regurgitating whatever organized group they are with. There's no thought to what they're saying just anger, when the reporters try to get them to be specific they simply rattle on...goes right over their heads. They aren't thinking at all.
Then there's the rage addicts that have already concluded cops must pay for this guys death regardless of what the evidence shows. They want the cops to pay...and it is these who will further be destructive no matter what the outcome is.
I agree when the press goes home they will go home...but I have to say also that these protests 'always' escalate "IN ORDER' to get the presses attention...round and round it goes.
What this is teaching all the blacks....if you don't get things changed...protest...if that doesn't change...riot, burn and destroy.....THEY believe they are heard then. Without the press they don't believe they've been heard.
Frankly they really don't have anything to say that hasn't been said for decades....just the current generation doesn't realize it.
