“Our PG&E bills run 50 to 60$s month.”
Obama gonna fix that for ya.
Put a windmill on top of a car to generate more energy also!!
See post #22, to see how this applies to automobiles!
With a Prius, you could run forever, after just one initial charge!

I remember asking my mother why you couldn’t do exactly that; plug an extension cord into itself.
She said that it wouldn’t work, the resistance would just make the current stop - this was before the advent of super-conductivity.
Heh: He’s trying to find a market for short-term profit for a product that will be obsolete in a few years (or less).
Next week’s article will be a proposal in the US House to mandate batteries for homes with Smart Meters under arcane rules written by the EPA.
Good guess.
http://www.computerworld.com/article/2913380/sustainable-it/tesla-to-announce-home-and-utility-scale-batteries-that-offer-energy-independence.html
“The batteries, which were displayed at a battery conference last year, hold 10 kilowatt hours (KWH) of electricity. The average U.S. household uses about 900KWH of electricity per month, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The lithium-ion batteries would be used to store up solar power generated during daylight hours, and then could be used to power a home at night or inclement weather. Tesla’s home batteries, which are 2.5-feet wide and 3 feet tall, have a starting retail price of $13,000. However, state energy efficiency rebates can cut that cost in half.”
I’m sure that Obozo will fix our PG&E bills.!
The 50-60$’s is for our electric bill.
Our new gas bill is about 60% of that when we got past winter, even less when we get into the summer and Indian Summers. Our monthly gas bill last Sept/Oct and Nov was about 25-30 $’s per month.
Our excellent reductions in utility costs have come about with today’s realities not tomorrow’s green bs promises.
Thanks.
That grips the hell of me that, our tax $’s will pay for half of the cost of the batteries that might last 5=7 years.
Those batteries will be stole in mass by those who steal I Phones and the mufflers off of new cars for the precious metal.
Add the cost of the solar to the package and the cost is up in the $20K area as I noted.
Thanks again for the ping.
I once asked my father why you couldn't drive a generator with an electric motor, and then plug the electric motor into the generator.
That was when I learned about perpetual motion machines, and eventually the laws of thermodynamics.

Careful don’t give him any more ideas of how to screw the average American Tax payer.
He is in line for rebates or tax rebates for 50% of his new batteries.
Same problem here, no power no water. I’d like to find a portable solar backup that would power our well pump only, plus be affordable. If you have any knowledge of one, please let me know. Thanks.
