Many people go to jail for things they do, that doesn’t mean what they did was illegal. If you read some of the post I made upthread, one guy was arrested by the FBI but the charges was dropped.
You say he went to jail, what was he convicted of?
Nothing new. The same thing happened back in 1967 at the high school in Roswell NM.
Blame Polaroid Instant cameras for it.
The Roswell Daily Record had an editorial about it.
It was years ago. I didn’t think it was possible to charge someone for taking pictures of male students with their shirts off. Inappropriate, yes. Maybe there was coercion involved but I don’t remember reading that. He did go to jail however.
I have a 16 year old boy. This happens everywhere. Home schooled kids and religious schooled kids are doing it too.
That is discouraging. How did you come to know this?
I have a 16 year old boy who attracts girls like poo attracts flys. I have a 19 year old daughter who went to Baptist schools for a large part of her life. Fortunately my daughter is a good girl. My boy attracts girls from all over the world.
One time a couple of years ago my boy asked me where Serbia was. I told him and asked why. He said he was texting back and forth with a girl there.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
