Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan attacked outside Dodger Stadium in 2011, is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the San Jose Giants home opener.
Stow was left severely brain-damaged after the attack, but he plans to get up from his wheelchair Thursday and make his way onto the field using a walker -- and then throw the pitch
A Los Angeles Superior Court jury awarded stow $18 million from the Dodgers and his assailants in 2014.
So the Giants have moved to San Jose? First I’ve heard of it, but I’m really out of the loop on sports these days.
I also left Cali close to a decade ago, so I don’t care all that much about their teams anymore.
The San Jose Giants are a minor league team, and yes, they were around a decade ago.
Hmm.....never hoid of 'em, but what do I know? I'm just a news junkie.
Thanks.
The farm club team has been in San Jose since ‘62. It’s a nice little municipal stadium and you get to see some great baseball for few simoleans. Totally unlike their big brothers up in SF where you need to take out a second mortgage for a family outing.
Minor league baseball bump. Best game around.
God Bless Bryan Stow.
