A leader of Hindu Mahasabha today stoked a controversy saying Muslims and Christians must undergo sterilisation to restrict their growing population which was posing a threat to Hindus.
“The population of Muslims and Christians is growing day by day. To rein in this, Centre will have to impose emergency, and Muslims and Christians will have to be forced to undergo sterilisation so that they can’t increase their numbers,” vice president of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Sadhvi Deva Thakur told reporters here. She also exhorted Hindus to have more children and increase their population so as to have an effect on the world.
In another controversial remark, she said idols of Hindu gods and goddesses should be placed in mosques and churches.
Thakur also came out strongly in support of installing a statue of “patriot” Nathuram Godse in Haryana.
He apparently wants a war.
What a maroon.

This just in... The _resident of the United States has just passed an executive order mandating that everyone who identifies as Christian In the US must be sterilized to comply with the new UN law recently passed as a result of Hindu suggestion... Those who fail to comply will be forcibly removed from society and placed in the Gitmo Bay detention center until further notice

and by the way folks- the WORLD is watching this _resident we have wage his war on Christians, and the world IS going to capitalize on the unrest and turmoil by demanding that this _resident enforce these country’s own acts of aggression against Christians- to which I’m sure he will comply- you know, so as to keep the peace- don’t want to upset other nations after all

Several years ago, a Pastor from an Indian church, one that my church partners with, visited Calgary and related a story about such a thing. A local hindu woman had a baby who died soon after birth. The family and friends prayed for hours to various Hindu deities for hours, but to no avail. Two little boys, relatives of the child, alone in the room with the dead baby, decided to pray 'in Jesus name' and laid hands on the baby, based upon a tract they had found in their mailbox. Eventually, the mother of one of the boys said it was time to go, but the boy insisted he continue praying. Soon, the baby started breathing and crying.
The next day, the whole neighbourhood celebrated at the church. Some of the Hindus brought idols to place in the church, to 'thank' their gods. Amazingly, these idols, not one of them, could be placed standing, in front of the altar. Every time the idols were set in front of the altar and cross, they would fall on their faces. This happened dozens of times in front of the Hindus. The fact that a dead baby, dead for many hours, at room temperature, amazingly came back to life and that no idols could remain standing in front of the altar and cross, brought quite a few to faith that day and in the weeks to come.
Ms. Thakur should be careful what she wishes for! Faith grows when times get tough, and many come to Jesus when they see how the Faithful react under such oppression. Bring in Hindu idols into churches, Ms. Thakur, and see how God draws people to him, rather than your plan to drive Christians out of their Faith!
Wow. Sounds like what happened with the idol of Dagon when it was near the Ark.
For those who weren’t aware, the Nathuram Godse she references was the assassin of Gandhi.
