Political correctness is a disease. It’s a cancerous growth on the posterior of America that continues to grow. One of the prime examples of that is this week’s controversy surrounding the University of Michigan, and it’s screening of American Sniper. Long story short, American Sniper was going to be shown on campus, some Muslims at UofM complained, got a petition going and got the screening canceled. They claimed that the film was “racist” and that it would make students feel “unsafe”. Jeez. Then one girl, one brave girl, named Rachel Jankowski, got a counter-petition going to get the screening back on. Not only was she successful but… well, just watch the interview.
Show her some support!

Now that Ms Jankowski’s name is out there, I expect she’ll be getting an unexpected Tweet or two.
Muslim (and others) will continue whining and playing the victim card as long as it works in their favor. It is sad to see what is happening to this country.

Rachel Jankowski, on the film, says the university started showing films on Friday night so perhaps students would go to the movies instead of going to bars and getting drunk or doing other things that weren’t healthy for them.
I suppose that, sure, any koranimal closet killer students might feel “unsafe” watching that movie.

When my daughter attended Georgetown University, I was visiting and saw “silence of the Lambs” with her and her friends.
That was a long standing weekly routine organized by the students themselves. If you weren’t inclined to enjoy the movie, you simply didn’t attend that night.
I never heard of a “group” petitioning to censor the current choice. That is such a koranimal, gay mafia or feminist thing!
