Did you ever have dinner at the Cliff House?

Mrs. JohnnyP and I have some nice memories. Time to go back.

This sounds somewhat odd. 190 proof is 95% Alcohol By Volume (ABV), but most vodka sold in the US is just 40% ABV, with higher end vodka reaching 50% ABV. The only ethanol product sold for consumption at 190 proof is Everclear, which is close to pure grain alcohol. As such, it is not even legal for sale in many states.

Granted that might be the initial distillation proof, but that just means they will cut it with water before sale.

Actually they do grow strawberries in Ventura. We have a boat in the marina over there and right down the road is a huge strawberry farm.

Oxnard is almost nothing but Mexicans now. You have to be careful where you go. When you get down by the water they don’t call it Oxnard anymore. They say they live in Channel Islands. They actually renamed it.

Heck, we had to be careful where we went then. Renaming it is part of it becoming Aztlan.
