IIRC some of those notorious "Saturday Night Specials" like F.I.E. were also manufactured here in Miami, FL. I once saw a range accident with an F.I.E. 38sp revolver. The cylinder was misaligned with the forcing cone and half the round went down the barrel while the rest and most of the cylinder exploded and took off two or three of the guy's fingers. That was fun. Remember, you get what you pay for, usually. Especially on the cheap side of things.
