ISTANBUL, Turkey — An entire town secretly learned sign language to surprise a hearing-impaired man in Istanbul.
BuzzFeed reports the man’s sister teamed up with a production crew as part of a Samsung ad campaign and crews spent a month setting up cameras around his neighborhood.
On the day of the surprise, he walks around town and people greet him using sign language. At one point, he asks his sister, “What’s going on?”
At the end of the video, everything is revealed to him. It’s an emotional moment that brings him to tears.
No,it wasn't an "entire town" but enough to make an impact in this man's life.

It’s an ad for Samsung. There, I said it, I’m a spoil-sport (if they still have such things).
But that didn’t stop me from watching the video or having a foggy screen when it was over.

Instead of teaching 1st graders about homosexuality, maybe they should be taught something constructive, like sign language.
