Morning Greg! I saw there was another attempted robbery at the White Twp. Walmart. Mr S and I were up there Saturday morning and saw the police cars. We wondered what was up! Thieves have been targeting that store a lot lately.

Anyone else see the explosion in Donetsk Ukraine? Looked pretty big but not a tactical nuke as some have said.
The shooting at Monroeville Mall Saturday! Good grief the thugs are everywhere!

Monroeville Mall used to be a nice place to shop. Haven’t been there in a couple of years. Looks like the mobs from Wilkensburg are taking their mischief to the suburbs!
Haven’t been following the goings-on in Donetsk, Ukraine, but just watched a video of the bombs whereof you speak.

What a weekend. I actually had a horrible nights sleep on Saturday...I couldn’t get Monroeville Mall off my mind. Growing up in the east part of the Burgh, MM was THE destination (it replaced Eastland as the place to go). There was a restaurant on the upper level, Sweet Williams, they had their own version of the BigMac and the BEST milkshakes (and I knew milkshakes growing up by the Big Isalys). And a Pup-Go-Go (hot dogs!)
Anyways, I was really thrown by the shootings. I had Grandbaby there right after Christmas at the Mister Rogers PlayPlace. It was the week of the “brawl.” Daughter had work related business in Monroeville and I met her and took little one on a “girls” day while mommy worked. I guess next time I’ll just bring her back to Mimi’s house immediately. I’ll shop at MM again (when I get a job!!! Lol) but I don’t feel comfortable taking her there.
I briefly read about the nuke in the Ukraine. I’m almost afraid to read more about it.
Whatever that explosion was it was big!
FWIW there are rumblings that anyone flying a quad or plane equipped with a camera will face arrest in PA. Some areas across the country have already started that.
Yeah, it is a dang shame about Monroeville Mall. That story made the Daily Mail. So did the one about the Jeannette murder, where the killer posed with the body and sent pics to friends via SnapChat.
WTH is wrong with the kids of today? And if “gun control” is so great, how are these underage kids getting them?

The big Isaly’s in Oakland? A relative used to manage there. My family always stopped there for the skyscraper cones and shakes. What a wonderful place and memories!

Jeanette is turning into the Wilkinsburg of Westmoreland County...but so far the WMall management has kept a tight reign on Fri/Sat night teen congregations.
If I was wealthy, I’d move out Ligionier way; if I was young Id buy land and build the family home (ie BIG) house I always wanted on acreage (but I’d need money for that too!!!) out in Yough/Herminie. But alas here we’ll stay (power ball NEVER works out as planned!!!)
I grew up in the neighjorhood right behind “the big Isalys.” A childhood full of chipped ham, thick sliced American cheese and ice cream cones. It’s a wonder I have an open artery:) but...there was a pretty good hill to walk up to get home!
Syma quad with camera and transmitter. X5C-1. Around $40-$80. Mine was $60 but shipped from China. Same price from USA on Amazon. Flys about 6-7 minutes per charge. Get extra batteries, they are only a couple of bucks.
I also have a Hubsan...smaller and less than $30 but the Syma is so easy to fly!

Sure is foggy here..come on spring..going to try out a helicopter first then upgrade to a drone..got to protect my airspace..I go through so many $1 reading glasses..lose them or they are not strong enough..I find old ones I have bought. Where is the story in Ukraine?. Our Walmart?..geeze. Used to walk at MM..Who remembers 50 years ago last nite? Jim retweeted my Viagra story..$500,000 spent on it
