Nice and infuriating!
So true Robert - you can only listen to that garbage for so long. I watch a lot of HGTV just to clear the political crap from my brain!
WHOA carbs topped with pure sugar, way to go! ; )
back from our training session, had some nice SNOW SQUALLS down by the Potomac in old town while we were having our lesson. an hour and a half outside on the streets with the wind blowing and i am exhausted, Davinci not acting like HE’s exhausted though. Definitely a tough nut, the trainer gave us a few strategies to work with him on the barking. Citronella collar does squat, and the PET PROTECTOR which i ordered from amazon [they sell it at the dog school for way more] all it is in compressed air in a can which makes a loud noise and you do it when they bark, marginally better. We will have one more session in 3 weeks to see how he’s doing and we are to bring Jules with us on that one.
Are you going to try a shock collar for the barking?
COLD here, but the snow stopped so I am off to run errands to the cesspool that is the liberal shopping meca of the next county. Can’t take the kindle, as I wore the battery down to nothing, so I will be out of range unless my phone will get me into the classroom. Keep them all in line here. BBL
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of cinnamon sugar on peanut butter toast
I would rather not bc that seems cruel to me. We will try the counter conditioning methods he’s suggested. There is a modified pinch collar for training/correction that we are using. Darby the jack Russell was the only one that required the pinch collar. I forget the term he used to describe the trait. But DaVinch is more challenging than your avg cavalier. He’s only 7 mo old and will be better with some more maturity as well. A lot of the barking involves competition with Jules, bc that’s what elicits it. Two ball-less boys still seem to be testosterone driven!
I actually use cinnamon Splenda now, so there’s that.
You can thank me later.
Did you check out "Man Seeking Woman" on FXX? It's pretty funny in a surreal raunchy way.
Cold, very windy down here.
Absolutely clear bright blue skies though. 8<)
Not so long ago, responsibility
Belonged to leaders for actions-
Obama lets someone take that hit
While he seeks out distractions
Like golf, or doing a big deal
With Castro or some other loon-
As the middle east is burning,
In the WH we have a poltroon
His minions can’t keep track
Of what he wants them to say
He’s become so unpredictable
Talking points change each day...
It is getting overcast and chilly now-rain is predicted for tonight and tomorrow, so I’m glad the patio customer paid today. I still think she will not be happy for long with that patio and gazebo area-it is just too many busy patterns and clashing colors in way too small a space-so I have some cheap, quick changes for it if/when she comes to that conclusion. The inside of her house has every space crowded with busy patterns and loud colored stuff-looks like a Pier 1 exploded in there-but it is not as small a space as that patio area...
While you are recommending carb and calorie-laden stuff to ti, who is doing so great with her healthy eating-I used leftover grilled chicken, an avocado half, a tomato, and sliced onion to make a little salad for my lunch. The smell of cinnamon/canela makes me sneeze, and I hate the taste, too-the little panaderia 9 miles away just reeks of the stuff-I have no idea why not, but I don’t ever remember liking that spice...
The peanut butter is a good protein.
I keep a copy of Good Carb/Bad Carb right here in the kitchen with my cookbooks, and peanut butter does not have a good ratio of carbs to protein, since it is pretty much equal, it is high in sodium, has a pretty high fat content and negligible fiber. Eating some real nuts or seeds-not the fancy salted ones in cans-is much better if you want the taste/crunch of nuts.
And the carb book says:
Serving Size 2 Tbsp
Calories 180
Calories from Fat 13g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 65mg
Total Carbohydrate 7g
Dietary Fiber 2g
Sugars 2g
Protein 7g
Dude, you’re harshing my buzz. ;-)
The info on tofu from the silken tofu package in my fridge-
3oz serving has 90 calories, protein 13g, carb 3g-that is a much better protein to carb ratio and there is negligible sodium, fat or sugar.
That is what our electric fence does, it shocks her....so she stays clear of it.
Indeed not, sir-eat the peanut butter spread on a slice of more empty carbs and calories sprinkled with flavored sugar and enjoy-I’m just pointing out that it is not “good protein” unless you are starving in the desert, or not concerned about your weight or eating calories with no health benefits.
