I will be debating Progressive Thom Hartmann on the Russia Today Network at 7:15 pm tonight on the issues of infrastructure and President Obama's refusal to approve the Keystone Pipeline.

I have heard Thom Hartmann when he was on Air America Radio. He seems to like the ambush, and also talking over people he disagrees with. Do not let him make you feel comfortable because he is then trying to set you up.

They have no valid arguments. When you are a Leftist invalid arguments are as good as or better than valid ones if they inspire the correct feelings.
If the Leftist inspires fear with their argument they win or if they inspire anger they win.
Leftist do not need strong logical arguments to win a debate because the truth is not important to them. Winning to the Left is inspiring the populace to agree with them long enough to achieve their goal.

My own personal approach to debating liberals is this...
1) Never accept the premise of their argument
2) Use their tactics against them ...i.e., how their policies hurt the poor. For example, pipelines don't go thru low income areas, but railroads and highways containing trucked oil does which is far more dangerous to people and the environment.
3) If the forum is right, have fun at their expense...parody the absurdity of their policies and arguments.
