The first school in Britain for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people could open its doors within the next three years. Based in the centre of Manchester, the specialist state school plans to take 40 full-time students from across the area and will offer up to 20 part-time places for young people who want to continue attending a mainstream school.
“This is about saving lives,” said Amelia Lee, strategic director for LGBT Youth North West, the youth work charity behind the plans. “Despite the laws that claim to protect gay people from homophobic bullying, the truth is that in schools especially, bullying is still incredibly common and causes young people to feel isolated and alienated, which often leads to truanting and, in the worst-case scenarios, to suicide.” …

I don’t think school age young people should be encouraged to define themselves rigidly as homosexual. They should wait till they are of age to make sure. What if someone is incorrectly streamed and labeled with this proclivity?
So a special institution for the mentally ill?
Or bringing back segregation.
I wonder if they will place several mattresses in each classroom. After all, having perverted sex is all that homosexuality is all about.
Lots of kids get bullied for a variety of reasons. Since homosexuality is faddish these days, I doubt that kids who might be entertaining the possibility of being homosexual are any more or less likely to be targets of bullies. And kids who are bullied for any reason are at increased risk for suicide.
So, instead of opening a school for kids who are too young to "know" that they are homosexual, how about laws against ALL bullying?
The message here is not that bullying is wrong, or that whoever came up with this idea cares about saving lives. The real message is that no one in the system cares a wit if a kid is bullied, unless that kid claims to have one specific kind of mental illness.
Good. Gather these a normals in one place and spare the rest of the students, who would have to cater to them in our crazy PC world.

Despite the advocates that claim homosexuality is no different from normal mental function, the truth is that in young people especially, homosexuality is often a result of predatory older homosexuals molesting the innocent. Molestation is still incredibly common and causes young people to feel isolated and alienated, which often leads to choosing to accept the orientation that was forced upon them by a predator, and in the worst-case scenarios, to suicide. It is not clear why isolating people with mental issues would make them safer.
Will they just have one giant bathroom?

Only enough, “activists” have chosen this symbol of segregation, concentration, and death to be their official symbol, so maybe they will use it as the LGBT School’s Official Crest.

I find it incredibly ironic that these people claim to be top discriminated, yet they prefer the quintissential form of discrimination, called segregation. Why have an exclusive school? Having an echo chamber to applaud sounds like the biggest reason.
I bet the suicide rates will not change.
How about realize that for a lot of the bullies, you have parents who just don’t care about what their kid is doing, and a suspension is a vacation to them? If a kid spends his suspension time out of school as a punk and stupidly attacks a community watch official who fights back and kills him, what makes you think plenty of other kids could be bullies and not care because suspensions don’t mean much more than a day off school to them?
Or gets an STD at a young age? What then?
Well we all know why this school is set up and why the homostapo wants it.
How pathetic that they know they can’t have their kids in a natural way as was intended so they have to go and get other kids indoctrinated.
