Woman says police officer forces her to have abortion, then beats her

It seems as if there are no depths to which some men will sink when a woman refuses to abort their baby—and even if they do.

ABC News 4 reported Monday that Officer Sierra Shivers, a member of the North Charleston, South Carolina police Department, has been placed on unpaid administrative leave while authorities investigate allegations of “criminal domestic violence” against a woman who was ten weeks pregnant.

More specifically

The victim told deputies she had been 10 weeks pregnant with Shivers’ baby and he’s been pushing her to have an abortion, threatening to have her loved ones arrested with planted evidence if she didn’t comply.

But having the abortion did not save the unnamed woman from violence, according to the local ABC News affiliate.

The woman told police that Shivers drove her to a clinic where she had the abortion. It was on the way back to the Extended Stay America hotel “where the victim told them that Shivers had physically assaulted her”–allegedly punching her multiple times. Because Shivers is a member of the North Charleston Police Department. Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies, who had also responded to the hotel scene, are handling the investigation.

Shivers’ bond was set at $2,505.

With the name Sierra the baby had to be envitro’ed or a surrogate stood in.

Um, wait.

I’ve been reliably informed here that police are virtuous and untouchable, always motivated only by public safety and the welfare of all.

This can’t possibly be true. These are men without sin, creatures of Angelic nature.

You’ve met those people, too? According to some I’ve run across the police are right even when they’re wrong because that shiny badge of their imparts a supernatural wisdom and knowledge that transcends mere laws and the Constitution (which we all know is a horrible impediment to good police work).

Your strawman fallacy is pathetic.

$2,505 bond for assault...?

Guess that shiny badge counts for something...

Isn’t it interesting that in modern America, the police have been violently pro-abortion?

I have watched outside clinics as pro-life people were intimidated, pushed, lectured and photographed by police who were clearly rabid about protecting the abortionists and their grisly trade.

I always wondered - is there one of them with the courage to walk inside and arrest the guy for murder?

We all know what would happen. The charge would be thrown out based on Roe.

But there is no a priori restraint on a policeman making such an accusation - that’s all an arrest is. Enough of them do it, maybe someone makes a point.

But I think I saw all I needed to see. These guys agree with it. The fact that there’s kids inside being ripped apart by a vacuum cleaner doesnt really bug a lot of them; they dont have that kind of empathy.

So lets just say that Sierra’s behavior doesn’t surprise me all that much.

Yeah. Hate to inject cynicism into a thread but it’s really not that shocking.

Could spend all day psychanalyzing government employees and their motivations, but the simple point is...they’re human, and have all the usual human problems. And maybe more, since they’re used to making people do what they want.

Um wait,

I’m a deputy my Freend, and your snarky statement displays the polar extreme attitude of the “all cops are great” kind of nonsense. I expect better of a freeper.

If this copper was in my territory he would be screwed, because we do not brook criminal behavior by anyone honored with the badge. This a$$hat should be fired, and prosecuted if sufficient evidence exists. The key being “if sufficient evidence exists”.

Does his behavior surprise you?

Considering the marital issues that seem to run strong in police departments, allegedly due to stress, is it really that shocking?

Actually it wasn't Roe that got the federal government to declare abortion "birth control" instead of murder.

Anthony Comstock did that.

Thats interesting.

Could you explain?

Comstock is of course famous for what i would have thought is the opposite. Save me the search...

He got a federal court to rule that abortion was a form of birth control, so that it would fall under the Comstock Laws.

Have you ever had the courage to make a citizens arrest of the guy for murder?
