World's deepest fish found: Ghostly snailfish is found lurking 27,000ft below at the bottom

A new record has been set for the deepest fish ever seen in the world, at an incredible depth of 26,722 feet (8,145 metres). The snailfish was found at the bottom of the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean, and breaks the previous record by almost 1,640 feet (500 metres). The finding was part of an international expedition that also found many other new species at the extreme depths.

We know about outer space than what is happening in the deepest parts of the oceans. Imagine the pressure being exerted on that fish.

The fish was promptly declared endangered, protected, and all resource drilling was banned.

Think for the fish the pressure is pretty much balanced. It’s that vacuum thing that tears things apart. Just wouldn’t bring him up too quick

If you look closely at the photo from the article, you’ll see Bill Clinton under this fish because there’s nothing lower than Bill Clinton.

I was thinking the same thing.... they all seem to have full bellies,so what ever their eating, there’s plenty of it.
I guess everything that dies winds up at the bottom.
