Three months ago I spoke with a Rave theater manager who had just come back where they did a ore-screening of Annie in Columbus. The Studio flew our two high priced technicians to ensure the quality was good. The Studio had done a lot of pre-event advertising, and only had 20 people in the theater.
thanks for the ping ES. The trailers have been on for it seems a LONG time and are pleasing. I plan to see it. I try to not compare movies to movies or books etc. Just try to enjoy what is offered.
Exodus tomorrow night
There is an all-black cast horror-comedy-spoof called “Haunted House” which is really pretty good (HH2 is not too bad either)
There is also one I ONLY saw online called “end of the world” that i thought was a laff, and another one about some country guys out camping in the woods and a bunch of teenagers think they are psycho redneck killers and get THEMSELVES killed through an incredibly number of idiotic accidents, that only reinforce their misconceptions.
It seems like all my favorite movies I never even saw come out on big screen. Idiocracy, Dogma, to name a couple of others.
