Head's Up For January's Obamacare Premiums

Posted on 12/05/2014 3:08:13 PM PST by MrMarbles

I just got off the phone with Blue Cross. They informed me that my premium for Obamacare will be going from $84.00 to $204.00 per month starting January, 2015. The bill will be here just before Christmas. We are very low income and have not made any changes to warrant this increase. We cannot afford it. So if you have Obamacare, you might want to call and find out what your Christmas surprise will be.

More premium, less coverage.

You`re lucky. Mine went from 30 bucks/month to 300/month.

Unexpected!

Yeah, whatever happened to that average $2,500 savings we were supposed to get under Obamacare?

We are very low income

You must not be low income enough to be disqualified for an commercial exchange plan and subsidy, though (assuming that's what it is).

All by design, Comrade. All. By. Design.

0bama, himself, said that it’s going to take 10-15 years before we have socialized medicine.

This is just the first step...

Welcome to the New World Order. *SPIT*

I believe the Obamacare insurance companies lost money on the ACA plans in 2014. So up go the rates. If they lose again in 2015 you will get another increase next year.

The Feds said the average increase would be 5%,in your case,$4.20,guess you’re above average.

I saw Stinky Hoyer on FOX in full support of 0bamafraud. He claimed that the results of the midterm election had nothing to do with the Suppository that was created by Dems only.

They really can't lose. That's what the risk corridors are for (bailouts).

CommieCare.

I expect there will be many, many who will just go without insurance.

If it’s food & shelter vs insurance, the latter will lose that choice.

Not to worry. Come January, the Republicans will be working full force to repeal Obamacare.

It’s a good thing your betters know how you should spend your money, or you might have spent it on the things you think are important instead of ob Obamacare. Liberals are recommending that you check for lower-cost plans, even if they provide less coverage, and not automatically renew. What matters is that all plans include “free” birth control and abortion, not whether they cover the services you might actually want.

So if enough people can’t afford it/won’t pay it,then what happens? I think Obama is planning on this to set things up for single payer care, but if it’s as bad as what we’re seeing now, there will be many, many uninsured.

Before the passage of obamacare, my premium as an individually-insured person was 265.00 per month. The premium skyrocketed to 508.00 per month last year, and was not the same plan, but the bronze plan with a high deductible. I can’t afford insurance any longer.

The plan that was closest to what I used to have was 804.00 per month for just me. OBAMA IS A LIAR.
