From 2/12 at Brussels’ La Monnaie, Krzystof Warlikowski’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni is not suitable for children under 16 because of sexual explicit content.

Illustrating once again that there is nothing the godless progressives cannot pervert to align with their degeneracy.

Funny how leftist are always harping about nuance, but when it comes to sex, everything has to be graphic, explicit, and in your face, whether it be hetero or homo. And if you don't like it, you're intolerant, bigoted, or whatever phobia-du-jour they've made up.

But the rule with sex and Leftists is - no nuance or subtlety allowed.

And here I was thinking that the Opera browser had gotten some sort of certification for running on OS X. My inner low-brow geek really read the headline that way. :=)

I thought it was the actual content of the opera that was being rated. Remember that the three Mozart/-DaPonte operas (Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Cosi Fan Tutte) were considered risque at one time. Beethoven thought all three were licentious and immoral.

I actually read the excerpt and thought, huh, what does that have to do with the headline topic? Took a few seconds to sink in...(I really didn’t expect actual opera to be a topic here).

There was a production of Der Rosenkavalier a few years back in which a scene was set in a brothel and it featured nude couples engaging in simulated sex onstage. Today's opera productions are all about the directors and their "vision".
