I still have my Galaxy Note 2 and it’s the best phone I ever had.

I agree. Can't talk myself into the T-Mobile $31.00/month extra for the Note 4.

Moto G and newer one (200 bucks)— buy it new, unlocked and get a chip from Red Pocket... uses AT&T towers, no contract and great plans pay per month.

Like the idea of a used i 5 that isn’t sim-locked and then shopping the sim for a plan that is peanuts.

Yeah, I figure maybe by the Galaxy Note 6 there will be additional features I think I need.

I was wrong; I pay $5.99/mth with no extra minutes besides those originally bundled with the phone.

The carrier depends on your location.

I really just use the phone for wifi and the rare phone call (one or two a month) and pay no attention to the minutes. I do not text.

If it weren’t for the occasional important phone call I could cancel the Tracfone subscription altogether and continue using wifi at $0/month.

I looked up the cheapest with-minutes plan and it is $9.99 with voice 50 minutes included per month. But those would be automatically tripled to 150 on my phone, I think. Voice, data , and text have separate balances on the Tracfone Androids but I have had no reason to look into the details of the accounting.

My wife has a Nokia and loves it. She got it because we have Win 8 on all our computers and the OS is so similar. She also loves the camera.

So the 6 is replacing the pad. That sounds good. I looked at tablets and would not have settled for anything less than a Surface, which was out of my price range. So this is good for me. Right now there are larger Nokias, but they are only being sold in Europe.

Then it must be your particular phone, because I too have been down this road.

To the best of my knowledge, the only iphone that would have trouble is one that came from Sprint.

Well, if you have ideas where I can find information about how to get a formerly AT&T 3GS to work properly on Net10, I’m all ears.
