There is no doubt that many people who collect government assistance do so because of disabilities or a real need for temporary help as they transition from recession-related job losses into the new economy. But there are also millions of people who simply don’t care where their monthly stipend comes from so long as they don’t have to work for it.
Kiara, a 12-year veteran of the American welfare system is one such individual. As she notes in the video below, she has four kids, no job, depends on government housing, and feels totally comfortable with all of it because she gets paid regardless of whether she works or not.
Life is so good for Kiara, in fact, that she’s holding a brand new cell phone in her hands during the interview – no doubt paid for by the American taxpayer through the Obama Phone initiative.

More and more, I feel like a sucker for being productive. Even at work, I see so many people who just socialize, and party, and crack jokes in meetings like Las Vegas comics. They aren’t working. But they seem to be doing just fine. Meanwhile, I work my butt off, and management says, “Oh. That’s nice.”
Wonder how much all those tats cost us.
Wanna be on welfare for the rest of your life? Okay, but first you must be surgically sterilized and have a frontal lobotomy. Then the checks will come rollin’ in while you sit in your living room and drool.

I was in the same position, as was the team I was on. No- I didn’t even gripe about it, I’m getting paid for my work, so work they shall get.
They re-orged me out a few weeks ago. Oh well. I’m in a good area for what I do. I’ll find something.

We stopped giving to food banks and the church “giving tree” a couple of years ago. When charities start asking for computer games instead of pajamas, we figured it’s time to spend our “charity” on our own children rather than those who vote against us election after election.
I used to enjoy listening to The Jason Lewis Show on the Tune-In app on my phone... he would be on after Mark Levin on KZRG in Joplin (I think) Missouri.
Anyway...I have not listened in a while as I became very busy at work and home...
I just found out the Jason Lewis walked off the show on 7/31/2014 in the middle of a broadcast.

I wish I had a free money stream but OTOH, I’m glad I’m not a loafer lazy arse....I’m glad I know how to work and work hard.....
notice that Toys for Tots used to take used toys and suddenly they have to be basically new or hardly used in the original box....
what I do....give money to family members having a tough go but are trying....
