We’re gonna hit a new Ice Age and these cultists are gonna tell us it’s the result of man-made global warming.

Brace yourself for more polar vortex news stories by the middle of next week. We are already getting the stories in our local (S. IL and W. KY) TV weathercasts...
...Just in time to remember the loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald, as well as the Great Storm of 1913.
I happened to stumble across this:
Capt. Cooper & US Coast Guard Radio Transmissions on Nov. 10th, 1975 -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK3dZ0YwOwI
Capt. Cooper was one brave dude to go back out there to look for the Fitzgerald. (The Coast Guard request starts about 9:50 in.)

The gales of Nov are whipping up. Massive low pressure is pushing in.

I think you’re a couple of hundred miles South of me, so hope you don’t get too cold.
Here in DFW, it’s supposed to hit Monday night and have lows in the 30s later in the week and next weekend. Not wanting the cold this early! It hurts my feet, hands and knees! (Yep, I’m in my 70s)

Played golf yesterday here in western CO ... in regular summer attire, shorts and polo shirt. Sunny, temperature in high 60’s. This coming week the cold air will stay east of the Rockies ... more golfing weather ahead. ;)
