It’s probably just me being.me, but everything feels “weird” and out of synch. My co-worker and I are fairly convinced that our employer is calling it quits at the end of this year. Long story, small business, empty warehouse, rediculous sale prices on items (Lots of craigslist items, etc). We’ve compared notes and occurrences...but aside from that the “real” world just seems whacked.
Wolf...he is going to wreck the energy jobs in the west to satisfy the green OBOTS of Philly. He’s a disaster in the making. Yesterday heard on radio (one of your stations?) Corbett tightened the race by being back only 18 %.
We are doomed.
Morning! Yeah, I am not getting real excited about these elections. Been burned too many times. I expect a lot of voter fraud. I wonder how many ballots will be suddenly ‘found in a car trunk because, oh gee, we forgot they were there’.
EVERYTHING seems weird and ‘out-of-kilter’ these days. Can’t explain it myself.
Remember WEston’s Shoppers City? I worked for them in the late 70’s. We all knew it was going to close. It was obvious. They did a lot of the same things you described, PaMom.
Yup, I heard that too. The R’s are popping champagne corks at being 18% behind! PA pubbies, especially east of Harrisburg are dumb as stumps!
Speaking of Harrisburg I like to play the Guess The Mystery Species from PennLive/the Harrisburg newspaper. I’m on a roll with three straight weeks of wins but the cool thing is their annual reader Fall Foliage Photo contest.

I’m not sure Corbett can pull it out, but we’ve seen internal polls showing a single digit race (some as low as 7%. I call Wolf “Little Cuomo”. If you like his energy policies, wait ‘til you see what he wants to do about guns...

Too many people travel to other states and have seen how much higher our gas prices are. That’s ALL you, Tom.
Plus I continue to be dumbfounded by the number of people in this state who somehow believe that their schools can be funded with big bags of money which somehow manage to just miraculously appear over Harrisburg.
All the more reason for everything west of the Susquehanna to go it alone. Time to secede from Philadelphia (and its RINOS)
