Wondering if they just got too warm? Maybe would not have mattered, article does say that the batch had too much yeast I suppose... but, when I was a kid we used to make home made root beer, it was made with yeast and needed to be refrigerated after the required sitting time or it would start popping caps off. Really surprised to hear bottle caps holding on to actually break the bottles though.
For this incident, wouldn't it be more accurate to say that "CO2 is dangerous?"
I live in Washington State — we have had three inches of rain thus far this year. That isn’t much and nothing is green unless irrigated. Maybe another inch and a half of rain in the remainder of the year.
Of course, CO2 is destroying the ERF!
Some of these marijuana-infused “edibles” manufacturers have no experience with the products unless they were selling them as medical marijuana already.

When marijuana is involved, however peripherally, in anything bad, marijuana and marijuana alone is to blame. Please make a note of it.
