A neighbor and I were talking about what passes for quality on network TV, and how we’d never have anything to watch if there was no DirecTV (no cable here). I said on evenings I want to watch a really scripted series instead of the Deadliest Catch/Ice Road Truckers type, I watch one of the novelas on Telemundo-they actually show some imagination, and are halfway amusing. She said well, since you can speak the language, I suppose they are, and I told her that she doesn’t have to understand Spanish to keep up with the show-just pretend it is Dallas, Dynasty, or maybe even Breaking Bad. She didn’t get it at all-the plot is the same in any language-over written and overacted...

LMAO...Some years back, I put in my diamond and two hoops
(left ear, left is right, right is wrong...though I had 3 left and two right once upon a time...) when the Princess was about 4...She freaked, saying...”Daddy..TAKE IT OFF” lol...
I’ve since traded ear wear for a very chunky Divers watch...(only bought out of vanity as ‘riding wear’... so my clutch hand looks manly good in traffic ;=)
But I’ve become quite attached to that one piece of bling...haha
Funny story...I have a nice gold trimmed watch, but when I wanted to buy the new watch Mandy Candy called me a woman... (the ‘chunky’ descriptor), stating how nice she thought the watch I already had looked...
Until the clasp pin broke, and I had to get it repaired (it was a recent purchase and at that price i was irked to replace the clasp pin so soon)...
forced to wear my previous watch, ...(one that I had to have links removed when I got it, but can no longer keep clasped) it was remarked about how it looked...

One can afford a certain amount of ...one way gratification, yet still type with the laptop in it’s proper place...
