(sigh!)
I knew it right away! It’s like she grew up listening to weird radio instead of the good pop. ;)
poor child. never exposed to decent music...
guess I have heard it, but it certainly wasn’t memorable. I listened to rock music back in the day, but not any more.
ummm... I rock at songpop and can recognize quite a few obscure songs of a variety of genres.
Yet you didn’t know one of The Sweet’s biggest hits...ROR! Is songpop some kind of phone game thing?
how popular was the SWEET? bc I don’t even recall that name, what era was this, like the Archies ? Songpop yes is an iphone game, I guess it can also be played on facebook, and you identify either song or the artist [depending on the question] in the shortest amount of time, more quickly than your opponent, for points etc. I have played it off an on for well over a year and the SWEET and this song has never cropped up in any of the categories, even One Hit Wonders.
According to the “global warming” crowd, williwaws will soon cease to exist.
It won’t happen!!!!
A+++ of course not, they haven’t been right about anything yet!
They were pretty popular. Ballroom Blitz? Fox on the Run?
ok, I have seen Ballroom Blitz on songpop. I do not remember that band by name though. Was it 80s? I am still trying to pinpoint when they were popular.
xshub informed me yest that Paul Revere of Raiders fame died this past weekend. Sad. I loved me some Mark Lindsay of PR &the Raiders, when I was in 4th grade or so.
I saw that too. Cherokee People. What girl didn’t have a dance number for that song?
Kicks comes to my mind. look at you going all racist with the injun song ; )
70s.
Come on. Guys dressed in Rev. War costumes singing about Indians? Classic, prePC days.
oh ok. well that was jr high, HS and college for me. Obv they made no impression on me if I heard them. Doubt WDVE played them, soother?
obv I remember it, I am just saying that’s not the first song that comes to my mind of their’s.
"It's a Willawaw, Larry ... WILLIWAW!"
