In a speech yesterday at Northwestern University, President Obama declared that the Affordable Care Act is working pretty well in the real worlda claim he couldnt have made this time last year. Now, armed with surveys of the uninsured rate and CBO reports, his administration can take credit for good, affordable healthcarebut only by citing choice data and dwelling on those parts of the law that disguise its defects as virtues.
Still, thats a big improvement from where the administration was last October. Its been a year this week since the launch of healthcare.gov, the health insurance exchange website through which millions of Americans were supposed to purchase subsidized coverage under Obamacare. To the delight of the laws critics and the chagrin of its champions, the site promptly crashed on October 1 last year, the day it launched. It took months to get it up and running.
At around the same time, insurers began canceling plans that didnt comply with the new laws new rules. We may never know how many people lost their coverage, but it was most likely in the millions, perhaps as many as six million. In response to this unwelcome news, the administration unilaterally announced last November that it would not enforce the provisions of the law responsible for the cancelled plans, and entreated state health insurance commissioners to do the same while urging insurers to continue offering plans that had been, strictly speaking, made illegal by Obamacare.

Don’t sell them short - it took herculean efforts on the part of a LOT of people to hide the cost of ebolacare...
Its no secret for the people who have to pay more in the Romneycare-Obamacare system of forced insurance coverage in a higher priced enivironment driven by progressive requirements for coverage.
Its pumps more cash into private insurance companies and hospitals. That’s why so many GOP governors like Rick Scott of Florida and Tom Corbett of Pennsylvania, not to mention Mike Pence of Indiana, are agreeing to Medicaid expansion under Obamacare in their states.
Its more money for private insurance companies that contract for Medicaid in those states and campaign contributions from those companies going back to the politicians.
Obama sold Obamacare with bells and whistles that looked very progressive, but like so many business as usual politicians, he sold out to special interests bailing out insurance companies and hospitals that had a lot of what Mitt Romney called “freeloaders” showing up at their doors.
So Obama’s voters are stuck with big fat health insurance bills. No wonder they don’t want to show up and vote.
And the looting for ebolacare hasn’t even started yet. Insurance? Redistributionism. Socialization of risk. TOTALITARIANCARE - forced purchase.

C’mon November
Only a Democrat can praise a law that has done nothing to decrease the 40 million “uninsured” which was the sole basis for it’s creation!
Only thing dumber that a Democratic politician is the person that votes for one.
