Probably less of a nationality issue than a training/knowledge issue. I'm just saying that when you compare averages to averages, the Filipinos generally speak more understandable English.

When you compare the best to the best, the Indians may very well have the edge.

The Philippinos have the worst attitudes. I have the displeasure of using them when XM radio was illegally sending out bogus invoices in a vain attempt to gain subscribers.

You are probably right. I may be be distorted because I lived in India until age 20, so I have no problem understanding Indian accents. For that matter, I understand almost all accents. My wife was from Sweden so I understand Scandinavian accents. I worked in Chicago for 35 years where there are lots of Polish and Lithuanians, so I am well versed in many accents.

There are more Christians in India than in Philippines. In fact there are also close to 200 million Muslims in India. India has a large population so every category is very large. 4 times larger than United States in total population.
