Odd time to see yunz. Everything OK?
Morning p6. Just can’t sleep. Went to bed dead tired and aching. Had granddaughter all day and Mr S and I spent the afternoon at Keystone State Park where son works. We walked ALL AROUND the lake. We were both beat by the time we got home. Grandbaby was good as gold and slept in her stroller a good part of the time. We didn’t need to carry her. Just a lot of walking for us. I’ve been up about an hour. Yawning now, so I’ll probably try hitting the hay again.
Loving the grandmother gig, but it sure is tiring! LOL!

Mrs p6 and i are both tired. Got a lot done but we are beat. Of course she’s sleeping but I’m at work. Luckily and easy night so far. As soon as I get home I’m going straight to bed.

Did the grandma (actually mimi) thing too this weekend. Daughter & hubby went to a wedding Saturday; we had 2yr old granddaughter (a busy girl to say the least) til yesterday (yeah! I got to leave for work then).
I keep saying there is a reason we DO NOT HAVE babies in our 50s.
Fingers crossed she doesn’t get ill; HS son is missing school today (a lot of kids out at his HS). Sudden high fever, cough, cold, sore throat and headache. He is NOT wheezing (but has been physically sick since Saturday night) but I think it is “the” enterovirus that we have been reading of (they were dropping like flies on his HS soccer team on Sat at their game—he played, felt awful, came home—down hill since then).
Morning! How’s your little angel doing? I hope she doesn’t get what your son has! If it is the entervirus I was reading about last night here on Free Republic, then it’s a really nasty one. Kids ending up in the hospital with severe respiratory problems! I hope your son gets over it soon!

No news in this bit from North East Radio Watch by Scott Fybush, but an acknowledgement of what we found out a few days ago:
*Fans of Jim Quinn and Rose Soma Tennant in western PENNSYLVANIA apparently won’t be hearing them back on the air just yet. The former WPGB (104.7 Pittsburgh) morning talkers reported on their website last week that they’d turned down an offer from WJAS (1320) to join the rest of the old WPGB talk lineup on Frank Iorio’s new AM talker. At issue, apparently, was streaming: WJAS uses Clear Channel’s iHeart platform, which is free to listeners, but Quinn and Rose reportedly wanted to put their stream behind a paywall. Is a streaming-only version of their “War Room” show the next step?

Yesterday, the BF and I were driving around Heidelberg area and he spotted a slick white Corvette. I watched it make the turn in front of us into the Walmart plaza, and then saw the license plate—”WAR ROOM”!
I yelled “Quinn!” and BF thought I was nuts, as I wanted to go back and see where he went. But it definitely is a cool car.
Quinn said on twitter this AM that they are working on “Plan B”

Childrens did them but they are falling out so redoing them. Cora who turns 1 in October had hers in at about 6 months but keep geeing infections..she had small tubes so she goes in end of September for adenoids. They both don’t sleep well. She had a sleep test.
All I have is an tweet from Yesterday.
She is a gabby little one. Talks constantly (love it!) we read, and read, and then read somemore. She “knows” the words to some of her picture books so she “reads” along.
She is going to be Sophia the First for Trick or Treating. We have these really old (found them in our garage from when her mom & uncles were little) Mattel blocks (sorta like Duplo). She loves those!
Glen Meakem announced that his weekend show will now be hosted on KDKA as well as WJAS. Hoping that this is a sign things are changing at KDKA and Q&R might get a spot.
